Day 1:

Thursday, May 14, 2015
- Flew from Honolulu, Oahu, at 5:56 a.m. and arrived in Kahului, Maui, at 6:32 a.m. with Hawaiian Airlines.
- Sam Sato's, Costco, Haleakala National Park, Tasaka Guri Guri Shop, sunset at Kamaole Beach Park II, picked up the family at 8:16 p.m., Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar, night in Kihei.

 Breakfast at Sam Sato's - mom-and-pop shop for some local comfort food.

Sam Sato's - Dry noodles large and 2 lima and azuki bean manju.

Tasaka Guri-Guri Shop - small, family-owned shop specializing in a frozen dessert known as guri-guri, which is a mix between sherbert and ice cream. One scoop of pineapple and one scoop of strawberry.

Day 2:

Friday, May 15, 2015
- Kihei Caffe, Haleakala National Park, Iao Valley State Park, Costco/Target, Hali'imaile General Store, night in Kihei

Kihei Caffe - Best breakfast spot in Maui in my opinion.

Haleakala National Park. Haleakalā is Hawaiian for "House of the Sun". Tried to watch the sunset the day before but it rained the entire time I was up there.

Saturday, May 16, 2015

- Red Sand Beach, Wailua Falls, Pipiwai Trail, Lahaina Grill, night in Napili-Honokowai

Monday, May 18, 2015
- Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop, Ka'anapali Beachwalk, Dragon's teeth, Kahana Beach, Mama's Fish House, night in Napili-Honokowai

- The Gazebo, Airport - family left at 1:18 p.m. Left Maui at 3:41 p.m. and arrived in Honolulu at 4:18 p.m. Car got towed.
