Nepal - Day 2 (Sunday, March 30, 2014)

Sunday, March 30, 2014 - Had a guided tour to Boudhanath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple).

Boudhanath Temple

Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal, is a site of pilgrimage and meditation for Buddhist.

Patan Durbur Square

One of three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu. Contains a palace, temples, and residential area in which people still live today.

Afterwards, we returned to the hotel to pack for the 2 week trek to Everest Base Camp. We were allowed one duffel bag and one hand-carry backpack that was limited to 15 kg for the flight to Lukla.
