Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon National Park

Airport for our flight back to Hong Kong.

Stayed a few hours to shower and sleep at the Hong Kong Regal Airport Hotel since we had an early flight the next morning to Taiwan.

 Doi Inthanon: Near the peak of Doi Inthanon where King Inthawichayanon's stupa is located. He was the last king of Chiang Mai and worked to preserve the forest for future generations. Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand at 2,565 meters or 8,415 feet.

Doi Inthanon: Phra Mahathat Napha Methanidon and Phra Mahathat Naphaphon Bhumisiri, twin Chedis to commemorate the 60th birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. The one in the picture is the Chedi of the King. The Queen's Chedi was being repaired.
