Flew with American Airlines from Honolulu at 9:34 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 and arrived at LAX, Los Angeles, at 6:01 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016. After a short layover, I left LAX at 7:00 a.m. and arrived at JFK, New York, at 3:34 p.m. Once we arrived there, we had arranged the day prior, a "Chinese cab," to pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel, the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. There were four of us and it cost us $47 + $8 toll fee + tip.
After checking in at the hotel, we ate dinner at Ippudo Westside, a ramen restaurant. We then walked around Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and ended the night eating at the Halal Guys, which was conveniently located next to our hotel.
